Trees get torn up by hurricanes, ice storms, and chainsaws. Some recover successfully; some don't. By dissecting and analyzing branches by these disasters, we can see for ourselves how trees respond to damage. Sections will be mounted and interpreted, with images of the whole tree and other facts displayed for context.
