JESS VOGT is passionate about creating spaces in which we can all find our place in contributing to a livable, lovable planet. She loves teaching and engaging others in discussions about sustainability in the quest for a more just, inclusive, and ecological future. Jess is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Studies at DePaul University (Chicago Illinois USA) and a Researcher with the Bloomington Urban Forestry Research Group (Bloomington Indiana USA). At DePaul, she teaches Intro to Sustainability and Urban Forestry classes for undergraduate students, and also conducts research on urban tree planting and neighborhood sustainability in cities throughout the United States.
