Aaron graduated from The Ohio State University's School of Natural Resources in 1998 where he received his bachelor’s degree in forestry. He has been practicing utility forestry for 20 years where he worked for Pacific Gas and Electric in California, American Electric Power in Kentucky, and Duke Energy in Florida. He is a certified arborist and utility specialist with the ISA. He spent 10 years working semiprofessionally as a drag racing crew member and driver. He joined the 250 mile per hour club in 2007 driving a NHRA dragster at Gateway Motorsports Park in Illinois. When he's not working Aaron likes to sail, scuba dive, and spearfish.
